Everything is looking real fantastic!
- Nine days after the transfer (9dp5dt) I had a beta hCG of 61.
- Twelve days after the transfer (12dp5dt) beta hCG was a strong 296.8.
- Fourteen days after the transfer (14dp5dt) beta hCG was a strong 744.3.
I am feeling great. I really can’t even tell I’m pregnant except that I have been TIRED but it is manageable. I have experienced a tiny bit of mild cramping but none in the last week.
I am still taking progesterone in oil daily via intramuscular injection and delestrogen twice a week via injection. New to the med list is Endometrin which I now take vaginally 3x/day. Endometrin is another form of progesterone – I greatly dislike it because of course capsules in the vagina don’t stay in, they ooze out. I’m sure I’m not the only surrogate who doesn’t get a kick out of this part. I’d much rather take a shot. I am taking 1 ml less of the progesterone in oil (the injection) and a tad bit less delestrogen and of course all my hormone levels are still being monitored.
Our next appointment is the six week ultrasound! That is scheduled for just a few days past six weeks on May 30th.
Chris and Marce are so excited and so am I! This all seems so strangely normal but unreal at the same time. Even though we had such a smooth pregnancy with Eileena, I still got nervous ever blood draw… I think that is normal. 🙂
